Project scope:  Seaside Heights awarded Epic Interiors the contract to build the New Carousel Building which will house the borough’s newly restored, historic Dentzel-Looff carousel, a boardwalk museum run by the Seaside Heights Historical Society and community meeting space.  The one (1) story, 7,254 SF on wood pile foundation system and steel and wood framed building will stand on what was a vacant lot that spans the entire block between Carteret and Sampson avenues on the boardwalk.  New Jersey’s Green Acres fund has provided $750,000 in grant funding toward the project. The carousel is currently being restored and cleaned up by a professional carousel builder and will be operational once it is reassembled in its new home.
